About this artist
As London's most exciting and innovative dance troupe, Boy Blue Entertainment is making waves within the dance community and intends to extend its appeal, reaching a wider UK audience and from there, international audiences fascinated with hip hop culture and dance in general.
Established in 2001 by dancer/ Choreographer Kenrick 'H2O' Sandy and music producer Michael Asante, whose aim was to encourage youth to embrace dance, while teaching discipline, team-building and exposing them to performance and storytelling, Boy Blue has gone from strength to strength, their shows selling out within hours of tickets going on sale.
Kenrick 'H2O' Sandy, a former semi-professional basketball player-turned dancer, choreographer, teacher and actor continues a successful dance career, most recently ranking 2nd in the IDO World Freestyle Championships.
Kenrick "H20" Sandy is also Atmosphere's Assosiate Creative Director and is at the very forefront of UK hip hop. He is the Co-Creator and Choreographer of the Laurence Olivier Award Winning production 'Pied Piper' and a Judge of the 2007 Nike Dance Clash. He was crowned UK Street Dancing Champion from 2000 to 2002 and he is a former Nike Freestyle winner. Sandy's choreography, fusing dance with a narrative style results in explosive dance spectaculars marrying different dance forms, pushing the Boy Blue dancers and thrilling audiences.
Currently Kenrick is choreographing for the new UK Street Dance Film 'Street Dance - Make Your Move' in 3D which features Boy Blue, Flawless, Diversity and George Sampson.
