About this artist
Prior to founding RubyGirls Dance Company, Rai Quartley trained at the Urdang Academy in Covent Garden graduating in 2006. Being a trained dancer in styles such as Commercial, Ballet, Hip-hop, Tap, Musical Theatre, Jazz, House, Pas de Deux and Contemporary gave her the edge of great versatility, which lends itself to her vast Choreography/Dancing and Teaching Credits. These credits amongst others include; Choreography for the series MTV FlashPrank, (Pure White) in Beirut, Britains got Talent RubyGirls, BBC Move it Like Michael Jackson, ITV2 Peter Andre (the next chapter), MTV EMA'S (Katy Perry and Pink), SKY TV (Panasonic), Gillette Commercial, Peter Andre Tour, Miss Black Britain, Brit Awards for PlanB 2011, X-Factor (Diana Vickers and Olly Murs), Littlewoods Commercial, NRJ Awards Show in Cannes, St Tropez, Urban music Awards, Tigi Hair shows, Dancers Delight UK, International Dance Connection, T- mobile, and many established artists such as Pink, Black Eyed Peas, Eliza Doolittle, Beyonce, Peter Andre, Katy Perry, Olly Murs, Ellie Goulding, Marina and the Diamonds, Mylene Farmer, Diana Vickers, Sonique, Steven K amos at the hammersmith apollo, Two Door Cinema Club, Sony Erriccson, T-mobile and many more. Most recently starring in the feature film Captain America which will be released in summer 2011.. Choreographing and teaching being a key factor of her work, Rai is a former resident teacher of RubyGirls ltd and was a resident teacher for Pineapple Performing Arts school. She has also taught many workshops/classes for companies such as Kings College in London Bridge, Coombe High School, Dance Design in Welwyn Garden city, Chingford Foundation, The American School In London, SuperArts, Stagecoach and Many more....
