About this artist
Kofi is performer by nature, but has a real talent for adapting to ANY type of job that he takes on (road shows, exhibitions, masterclasses, etc.) He has a great understanding of the environment that he works within, as well as the keeping a high standard of professionalism throughot his employment. In his Career, Kofi has had the honour of performing in prestigious venues such as The Royal Opera House, The Royal Albert Hall, The Barbican, Sadlers Well’s and Hackney Empire. He has played main roles in successful dance theatre pieces such as ‘Tag’ at the Peacock Theatre and award winning ‘Pied Piper’ at Theatre Royal. These and many more experiences have nurtured his thirst for the stage. He has also had many opportunities to travel with his talents, training and performing in places such as Korea, Paris and Ireland. He will aslo be venturing later in the year to Guyana and Czech Republic to both compete and perform in styles of Hip-Hop dance. By performing internationally, and working alongside international performers, shows such as Afrika Afrika and groups such as the Russian B-Boy crew "Top 9" (Breakin Convention ‘08) have extended his dance vocabulary and greatly widened his understanding of the dancing / performing environment.
