About this artist

Born & raised in London UK, Del discovered dance late in life whilst studying at university. Since then, he has had the opportunity to train & work with some of the UK and world’s best choreographers. Starting with Breaking, he then moved on to Latin American, other styles of Hip-Hop (Locking, Popping and Commercial), Ballet, Jazz & House. He has furthered his training by spending an extended period of time in the United States visiting Florida, San Diego, LA & New York.

Del's professional performing career began in 2003 when he joined Culture Shock Dance Troupe UK. Within a year he became Associate Director & founded his own company called Funkology, the UK's No. 1 University Dance Company. He is now working closely with Kryptic Movement, a Hip-Hop fusion dance company headed by world renowned choreographer Supple.

Through his training & experiences, Del developed an interest in teaching & choreography. As a choreographer & instructor, Del has vast experience having provided classes/workshops for many companies, shows, studios, schools & gyms, nationally & internationally. These include Culture Shock (San Diego, New York & UK), Peridance (New York), Pineapple Studios (London), Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, Hewitt Performing Arts (Romford), David Lloyd Gyms & YMCA.
